Local woman accused of violating New York's Alcoholic Beverage Control law in Lowville

LOWVILLE- A local woman is accused of charges that violate New York’s Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, according to authorities.

Laurie A. Buckingham, 60, of Lowville, NY was arrested Thursday evening by the New York State Police (Lowville). She is officially charged with one misdemeanor count each of unlawfully dealing with a child in the first-degree and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage.

Troopers say the arrest stems from complaints filed during the early hours of July 23 in the village of Lowville, NY.

At press time, police said Buckingham was issued with an appearance ticket.
