Lowville Police charge local resident for allegedly contacting protected female victim

LOWVILLE- A local resident is accused of violating a court order by contacting a protected person, authorities are reporting.

Travis Foy, 43, of Lowville, NY was arrested last Thursday by the Lowville Village Police Department. Foy is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree.

According to Chief of Police Daryl Ortlieb, Foy allegedly contacted a protected female party.

At press time, police said that Foy was released on an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.
