Lowville Presbyterian Church to celebrate bicentennial July 16

LOWVILLE- A local church in Lewis County will be celebrating its bicentennial this summer.

Coming up on Saturday, July 16, the community is invited to observe the 200th celebration event for Lowville Presbyterian Church.

An open house at the church – 7707 North State Street – will take place that day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Celebration goers will have the chance to observe historical artifacts, books, artwork and a video that portrays the church history through the years.

The following Sunday on July 17, new Lay Pastor, Mr. Greg Jenkins, will make his debut service for the church.
