Lowville resident accused of violating court order in Port Leyden, Troopers say

PORT LEYDEN- A local resident is accused of violating a court order in Lewis County, authorities say.

David A. Gerdon, 29, of Lowville, NY was arrested Wednesday night by the New York State Police (Lowville).

Gerdon is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from complaints filed earlier that afternoon in the village of Port Leyden, NY.

At press time, police said that Gerdon was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
