Lowville resident charged for possessing meth, fentanyl in city of Watertown

WATERTOWN- A local resident was scheduled for arraignment late Tuesday for allegedly possessing meth and fentanyl.

Dustin A. Spencer, 31, of Lowville, NY was arrested and charged by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for one felony count of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the fourth-degree and one misdemeanor count of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The charges were filed shortly after 10:00 p.m. Tuesday in the city of Watertown, NY.

Deputies said that Spencer knowingly possessed a white, crystal like substance, which ended up testing positive for meth and fentanyl.

Following processing, Spencer was scheduled for an arraignment in Watertown City Court.
