Lowville Village Clerk/Treasurer resigns, report suggests

LOWVILLE- A familiar face has taken over as interim Treasurer/Clerk for the village of Lowville, NY in the wake of a sudden resignation by Danielle St. Louis.

Attorney Jim Burrows told reporters from WWNY-TV that Pamela Roes was appointed this week during an emergency meeting to head the position until a permanent replacement is found.

A specific reason for St. Louis’ resignation remains unknown, but Burrows clarified the resignation has no ties to the recent timesheet trouble with the village police department.
