Lowville Woman Jailed on Drug Charges

VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE-Lowville Village Police arrested a Village of Lowville woman on October 8th after an investigation with the New York State Parole Department.  39 year old Megan Thomas was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree-Scales: both Class A misdemeanors. Police and parole officers reportedly located measuring scales at her residence after a search by parole officers. Thomas was remanded to the Lewis County Jail after a search warrant was obtained by New York State Parole. She will appear in County Court at a later date.
