Lyons Falls Man Arrested

A 23 year old Lyons Falls man was arrested yesterday by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office regarding a case of issuing several bad checks. Deputies report that Justin Marmon allegedly issued 14 bad checks to the Lock 96 Gas Station in Port Leyden from March 25th through March 30th of this past spring. He was charged with 14 counts of issuing a bad check. The total amount in checks including bank fees was $1,701.82. He was issued a criminal summons to answer the charges in the Town of Leyden Justice Court at a later date.
