LOWVILLE- A North Country resident is accused of fleeing local authorities in Lowville, NY and is subsequently faced with several vehicle and traffic offenses, officials say.

Trenton Passage, 22, of Carthage, NY is accused of fleeing from village police after they attempted a traffic stop last Wednesday night on Cascade Avenue.

It’s alleged that there were no license plates on the vehicle, Chief of Police Daryl Ortlieb said.

On Friday, Passage was subsequently located by the State Police at his residence, where he was transported back to Lowville Police for processing. Passage is formally charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer in the third-degree and 18 other vehicle and traffic offenses.
