OLD FORGE- A resident from Lewis County is accused of yelling obscenities and refusing to leave a local police station in the Western Adirondacks, authorities say.

Frank D. Schwab, 47, of Lyons Falls, NY was arrested and charged Friday by the Town of Webb Police with counts of disorderly conduct, trespass and resisting arrest.

Chief of Police Ron Johnston says Schwab tried to access the police station in Old Forge, NY, despite being ordered to leave. It’s reported that Schwab was causing a disturbance by yelling obscenities from the parking lot.

Furthermore, it’s reported that Schwab caused such a scene by resisting arrest that nearby onlookers ended up helping police with the arrest.

However, following processing, Schwab was released with appearance tickets and is due to appear at another time in Town of Webb Court.
