Boonville- A man was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital after a car was discovered in the Black River Canal.

Emergency services were dispatched at 6:39am this morning to reports of a vehicle that had struck a tree and crashed into the canal on Moose River Road, just past the Boonville Cemetery.
