Medical helicopter called to Lewis County ATV accident over the weekend

LEWIS COUNTY- An ATV accident with injury prompted the response of a medical helicopter over the weekend.

Although we are still awaiting official details from the Sheriff’s Office, dispatchers can confirm that emergency personnel responded to an ATV accident sometime around 2:00 p.m. Saturday on the North Road, which is near the Highmarket, NY area.

As of this report, we are not aware of the extent of injuries or how many people/ATV’s were involved.

We have been in touch with the Sheriff’s Office and are anticipating a follow up report.
