Mennonite Central Committee Mobile Meat Canner to return to Lowville weekend of April 13-14

LOWVILLE- The Mennonite Central Committee and their Mobile Meat Canner is aimed to return to Lewis County this spring.

During the weekend of April 13-14, several volunteers will be busy canning all sorts of meat at the Maple Ridge Center – East Road, Lowville, NY.

According to officials, the goal this time around is to process nearly 18,000-pounds of meat, which will be distributed to food pantries here locally, as well as worldwide.

Volunteers are needed to meet this year’s canning goal.
