Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Friday, February 28, 2025

Published on February 28, 2025

Valley Snow Travelers Groomer Snow Night February 2025

Snowmobiling 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.

Following a warm-up this past week, it looks like some colder temperatures will return for the weekend. Even better yet, it looks like another squirt of fresh snowfall is in the forecast as well.

With four-days’ worth of mild weather, snowmobilers should mind potential icy corners. With sled traffic anticipated to increase for another weekend, riders are always urged to be gentle on the throttle and to be courteous to other snowmobilers.

Here are some of the latest reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

NOTE: Conditions are likely and do tend to change on a moment’s notice. Be sure to keep checking our website for any updates (you can also check in with your favorite snowmobile clubs for more in-depth details).

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Groomers have prepared trails for the weekend.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
