Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Friday, February 6, 2026

Another bitterly cold weekend has been forecasted for all of Central and Northern New York for this weekend.
If you are out riding the trails, be sure to bring along some extra gear to keep warm with, as wind chills are expected to range between 25 and 25-degrees below zero.
Generally speaking, the trails have been fantastic these past few weeks and it doesn’t look like things will be slowing down anytime soon.
Here are some of the latest trail reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Groomers have been rolling and trails remain great!
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trail conditions remain good.
Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Good riding reported and groomers will be out.
Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Trails range from good to excellent.
Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Trails are flat and groomers have been busy.
Osceola Snowmobile Association: Excellent conditions remain!
Ohio Ridge Riders: Riding remains good and grooming fleets have been rolling.
Old Forge/Town of Webb: Trails have been ranging from good to great!
Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Trails remain in good shape and groomers have been out.
Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Trails are setting up to be outstanding.
Trackside Blazers: Groomers have been busy this week.
Turin Ridge Riders: Grooming has been steady and trails are great.
Valley Snow Travelers: Groomers have been out on the Tug Hill and lower trails.
NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
