Published on February 23, 2023

Valley Snow Travelers Groomer February 2023

As we wrap up the month of February, Mother Nature has gifted the North Country with a fresh batch of snow.

It’s nothing major, but it seems like it could be enough to get grooming teams working into the upcoming weekend and hopefully as far as possible into March.

In Boonville, NY and surrounding areas, a fresh batch of snow (between 5 to 6-inches) accumulated late Wednesday night into early Thursday.

Here are the latest updates we’ve gathered:

NOTE: Conditions are likely and do tend to change on a moment’s notice. Be sure to keep checking our website for any updates.

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Stay tuned for reports; fresh snowfall has been confirmed.

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Most trails are open but not yet groomed; conditions vary.

Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Enough snow to open; little base leftover; grooming may be possible this weekend.

Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: White Lake and Tow Path Trails will be opened soon; grooming expected this weekend.

Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Fresh snow reported; but still no grooming.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
