As many snowmobilers took advantage of the fantastic early season riding conditions before Christmas, one would be shocked to see how quickly the trails have deteriorated since.
Several local snowmobile clubs have pulled the plug on their trail systems until the snow machine fires back up.
Here are the latest updates we have gathered:
Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Grooming suspended until further notice; poor conditions reported.
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails are CLOSED.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
