Snowmobiling 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.

We are nearing the month of February already and Mother Nature has certainly been relentless for when it comes to cold and snow, so far, this season.

In the wake of another snow system earlier in the week, several snowmobile clubs across the local region have sent their grooming fleets out to pack-in fresh snowfall.

Based on the reports we’ve gathered and speaking with snowmobilers, it seems that overall conditions have ranged from good to excellent for the entire month of January (which is remarkable considering such an inconsistent weather pattern over the last decade or so).

Here are some of the latest reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

NOTE: Conditions are likely and do tend to change on a moment’s notice. Be sure to keep checking our website for any updates (you can also check in with your favorite snowmobile clubs for more in-depth details).

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Grooming fleets have remained busy and the conditions have continued to be good.

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Grooming fleets have been out and the trails remain in good shape.

Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Grooming fleets are working to smooth out the trails. Conditions are expected to be good by the weekend.

Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Trails are in great shape. Grooming fleets will be active this week.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
