Lost Trail Snowmobile Club Green Groomer February 2025

Snowmobiling 2025 marches on across upstate New York and the North Country.

Things seem to have settle down (in terms of the weather), at-least for the time being.

It’s going to be very cold through the weekend and several snowmobile clubs are still digging out from Mother Nature’s latest snowstorm earlier in the week.

Riders should beware of lingering tree limbs and other debris potentially scattered throughout the trail systems.

On a good note, sled traffic was very busy again over the weekend and the weather conditions look fantastic for the rest of this week.

Here are some of the latest reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

NOTE: Conditions are likely and do tend to change on a moment’s notice. Be sure to keep checking our website for any updates (you can also check in with your favorite snowmobile clubs for more in-depth details).

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Good conditions. Watch for debris.

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails remain in good shape.

Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Conditions remain great.

Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Trails are open; watch for hazards.

Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Groomers went from West Carthage to Whistle Stop on Tuesday.

Osceola Snowmobile Association: Use caution and watch for debris.

Ohio Ridge Riders: Expect potential hazards; ride with caution.

Old Forge/Town of Webb: Very good conditions reported.

Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Ride with extra caution (hazards reported).

Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Groomers are still digging the trails out.

Trackside Blazers: Grooming is expected to commence Wednesday night.

Turin Ridge Riders: Deep snow coverage reported.

Valley Snow Travelers: Groomers went out Sunday night; watch for debris.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
