Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Wednesday, February 25, 2026

Published on February 25, 2026

Penn Mountain Snow Riders Groomer Night February 2026

Spring is approaching, but it looks like the overall temperature pattern is going to remain mostly below average as we wrap up February and head into early March.

Keep in mind that this time of year is when the trail conditions can start to become unpredictable and can change on a day to day basis.

It seems like groomers continue rolling all over the North Country.

Here are some of the latest trail reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

NOTE: Conditions are likely and do tend to change on a moment’s notice. Be sure to keep checking our website for any updates (you can also check in with your favorite snowmobile clubs for more in-depth details).

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Some fresh snowfall reported. Trails have hardened up.

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Groomers have been rolling.

Long Pond Sno Sled Club: No recent updates, but expect hard trail conditions.

Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: No recent updates, but expect hard trail conditions.

Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Most trails are open; Maples and Copenhagen trails were groomed earlier this week.

Osceola Snowmobile Association: Expect hard trails.

Ohio Ridge Riders: Trails are being groomed.

Old Forge/Town of Webb: Good conditions reported.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
