
ONEIDA COUNTY- Emergency officials are strongly advising property owners to make haste with clearing their roofs from any accumulated snowfall.
Another handful of roof collapses were reported over the weekend. Western Fire Department responded to a roof collapse at Western Fabrication (Fazekas Industries), located at 10044 Meszler Hill Road, Westernville, NY.
According to a family member, who posted to Facebook, no one was working when the roof collapsed and no injuries were reported.
In addition, Forestport Fire Department responded to a roof collapse Sunday evening at 12188 Woodhull Road. No injuries were mentioned in the initial reports.

Also, officials with the Western Fire Department said that one of their own pavilions collapsed.
These incidents add to a flurry of other roof collapses that have occurred over this winter season, mainly due to heavy snow-loads.
Local emergency officials strongly encourage property owners to seriously consider beginning the process of removing any snow that has accumulated on rooftops.
