Lewis County Jebbs Flooding Natrually Lewis July 2024

LOWVILLE- Businesses impacted by recent severe weather in Lewis County are being asked to fill-out a pre-qualification form to help officials better understand the financial need of resources.

“In the weeks since the July 2024 severe weather and flooding, our community has come together like never before; we've shown what it means to support our neighbors,” the Naturally Lewis office said in a released statement Monday.

“During this time, Naturally Lewis has been working to develop emergency relief funding opportunities for Lewis County businesses.”

Businesses affected by flooding and severe weather are asked to complete these following steps:

1. Complete the Naturally Lewis Assessment Form.
2. Complete the Lewis County Damages Reporting Form.

At this point, the Emergency Relief Opportunities will include the following funding sources:

Naturally Lewis Reboot Our Community Fund.

Emergency Loan Fund.

Vacant Property Revitalization Program.

The LCDC has also allocated $50,000 of their own funds towards emergency relief.

Furthermore, Naturally Lewis, Inc. is partnering with the Lowville Business Association to host an informal event where we will network and discuss current happenings in the Village, including Downtown Revitalization Initiative funds.
