Nearly 30-kids from around Lewis County participated in 15th annual ‘Shop with a Cop’

LOWVILLE- Officials say the 15th annual Shop with a Cop in Lewis County was another success.

With 28 kids from all around the county taking part, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office is grateful to have received donations from area businesses, participating agencies and private individuals for the event.

“The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone involved in making this year’s Lewis County Shop w/a Cop program a success,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

The following agencies participated in the event: Beaver Falls FD, Castorland FD, Constableville FD, Croghan FD, 3-G FD, Harrisville FD, Lowville FD, Lyons Falls FD, Martinsburg FD, New Bremen FD, Port Leyden FD, Turin FD, West Leyden FD, Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, Lewis County Probation Office, Lewis County Emergency Management, Lowville PD, New York State Police, New York State Court Officers, New York State Forest Rangers, Lewis County District Attorney’s Office and Harrisville Central School Varsity Club.

The following businesses/agencies/individuals donated to the event: Employees from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, Lewis County Fire Police Association, Beaver Falls Fire Department, Harrisville Fire Department, Beta Sigma Phi Xi Delta Sorority, Wal-Mart, State Farm Insurance Agency – Tom Spaulding, Kaitlyn Wood Photography, Vinny’s Pizzeria, Fun Paddle Auction, Community Bank, and multiple Lewis County Residents.
