New York State resident charged with felony fraud in Lewis County: TROOPERS

MARTINSBURG- A fraud investigation in Lewis County has resulted in the arrest of a western New York area resident.

On Wednesday morning, the New York State Police (Lowville) formally charged Marcus J. Lane, 44, of Marion, NY with one felony count of insurance fraud in the third-degree (w/property values exceeding $3,000).

According to Troopers, this arrest stems from a fraud complaint on Monday in the town of Martinsburg.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending.

Lane was released and there were no further details provided.
