OLD FORGE- A North Country man is accused of unlicensed operation in the Western Adirondacks, authorities say.
Keith A. McGee, 32, of Antwerp, NY is officially charged with counts of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree (for at-least three scoffs on at-least three-separate dates and a previous conviction within preceding 18-months), according to the Town of Webb Police Department.
Chief of Police Ron Johnston says his patrols stopped Mr. McGee Saturday evening on State Route 28 in Old Forge, NY because his vehicle was allegedly uninspected.
Investigation revealed that McGee’s license was suspended with more than 3 scoffs on more than 3 separate dates. Furthermore, police learned he had previously been convicted of the same accusation within the preceding 18-months.
McGee was released with an appearance ticket, with all charges returnable to the Town of Webb Court at a later date.
No further details were provided from police.
