
RUTLAND- A North Country pair is faced with charges stemming from complaints of a disturbance early Tuesday in Jefferson County, authorities say.
Jared M. Demarco, 21, of Carthage, NY and a 17-year-old teen from Philadelphia, NY, whose name or gender was not provided, were arrested early Tuesday by the New York State Police (Watertown).
Demarco is charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief in the fourth-degree. The teen is also charged with one count of the same.
Troopers say these charges were filed in the town of Rutland.
At press time, police said an investigation was pending. Demarco and the teen were released with appearance tickets.
