North Country resident arrested for alleged menacing, Troopers say

CHAMPION- A North Country resident is faced with menacing accusations in Jefferson County, according to authorities.

Nichelle M. Foy, 27, of Natural Bridge, NY was arrested Saturday afternoon by the New York State Police (Watertown). Foy is officially charged with one misdemeanor count each of menacing in the second-degree (weapon) and criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree (w/intent to use).

Troopers say these charges stem from menacing complaints filed on Friday afternoon in the town of Champion.

At press time, police said that Foy was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
