NOTICE: Lewis County Solid Waste Facility will be closed Christmas Eve

LOWVILLE- Due to the impending weather, the Lewis County Solid Waste Facility on Rt. 26 in Lowville, as well as the Solid Waste Transfer Station in Croghan, will be closed on Saturday December 24th.

According to county officials, both sites would have only been open for a half-day on Christmas Eve anyhow.
