ONEIDA COUNTY: LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 P.M. THURSDAY TO 1 A.M. EST SATURDAY.

* WHAT...For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10-inches with localized amounts of over a foot possible in western Oneida and northern Madison County. Winds gusting as high as 40-mph.

* WHERE...Madison, Northern Oneida, and Southern Oneida Counties.

* WHEN...From 4 P.M. Thursday to 1 A.M. EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
