LEWIS & OSWEGO COUNTIES: WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 P.M. EDT WEDNESDAY.

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph creating drifting and blowing snow.

* WHERE...Oswego and Lewis counties.

* WHEN...Until 8 P.M. EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Widespread accumulating snow will create dangerous travel conditions. Submit snow reports through our website or social media.
