OLD FORGE & WESTERN ADIRONDACKS: WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 P.M. WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON TO 11 A.M. EDT THURSDAY.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Portions of eastern New York and southern Vermont.

* WHEN...From 5 P.M. Wednesday afternoon to 11 A.M. EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Slow down and use caution while traveling.
