NYS DOT: New traffic light to be erected at intersection with State Route 12 and Main Street in Boonville

BOONVILLE- The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that a new traffic signal will be operational on State Route 12 at the intersection with State Route 12D (Main Street) and Cemetery Road in the Village of Boonville, Oneida County.

Starting Tuesday, June 3, motorists on State Route 12 will encounter a flashing yellow signal and should proceed with caution through the intersection.

Motorists on State Route 12D (Main Street) and Cemetery Road will encounter a flashing red signal and should come to a complete stop before proceeding when it is safe to do so.

The signal will begin normal, three-color function on Tuesday, June 10.
