NYS DOT Region 7 Public Information Officer to residents and visitors: Pack your patience for eclipse day and be prepared for intense areas of traffic

For now, the National Weather Service is calling for sunshine across the North Country for Monday, April 8, the day of the Great North American Eclipse.

Areas of intense traffic are expected through the path of totality, which will include much of our local region.
