NYSP: Carthage resident charged for criminally possessing weapon in Jefferson County

CHAMPION- A resident local to the North Country is accused of criminally possessing a weapon in Jefferson County.

Christopher J. Brundage, 44, of Carthage, NY was arrested and charged on Tuesday by the New York State Police (Watertown) for one felony count of criminally possessing a weapon in the third-degree.

Troopers say this arrest was made Tuesday evening in the town of Champion.

At press time, Brundage’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
