NYSP INVESTIGATORS: Lewis County resident charged with felony promoting a sexual performance by a child in Turin

TURIN- A felony charge has been filed against a North Country area resident following an obscenity and/or pornography investigation from last December in Lewis County.

On Wednesday morning, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged Scott A. Dailey, 44, of Turin, NY with one felony count of promoting a sexual performance by a child under the age of 17.

Troopers said the arrest stems from a complaint in the village of Turin, NY, which was filed on December 19, 2024.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending and Dailey’s arrest status was listed as cash bail.
