NYSP: Local resident accused of falsely reporting incident, false written statement in Cold Brook

COLD BROOK- A local resident is accused of falsely reporting an incident in Herkimer County, authorities say.

Kayla L. Carcone, 34, of Cold Brook, NY was arrested Wednesday evening by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Carcone is formally charged with one misdemeanor count each of falsely reporting an incident in the third-degree and false written statement.

According to Troopers, the charge was filed in the village of Cold Brook, NY.

At press time, police said that Carcone was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
