NYSP: Local resident charged with acting in manner injurious to a child in town of Russia

RUSSIA- A local resident is faced with a charge that stems from a sex offense complaint last fall in Herkimer County, authorities say.

Michael A. Litz, 30, of Remsen, NY was arrested on February 22 by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Litz is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of acting in a manner injurious to a child (under the age of 17).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a sex offense compliant, which was filed back on October 18 in the town of Russia.

At press time, police said that an investigation was pending. Meanwhile, Litz was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided to report.
