NYSP: North Country resident charged with criminally possessing controlled substance in Jefferson County

CARTHAGE- A Jefferson County resident is accused of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the North Country, authorities say.

Randy H. Hartle, 49, of Glen Park, NY was arrested on Sunday, January 19 by the New York State Police. Hartle is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a warrant in the village of Carthage, NY.

At press time, authorities said that Hartle’s arrest status was listed as cash bail.
