NYSP: Oneida County teen faced with felony sex offense accusation in Remsen

REMSEN- A local teenager is charged with a felony sex offense in Oneida County, authorities say.

On Thursday morning, the New York State Police (Remsen) arrested a 13-year-old youth from Remsen, NY. A name or gender was not provided from authorities.

The teenage suspect is officially charged with one felony count of criminal sex act in the first-degree (victim less than 11-years-old).

Troopers say this arrest stems from complaints filed last Saturday in the town of Remsen.

At press time, police said the teen was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
