NYSP: Vehicle larceny complaint leads to felony charge filed against North Country resident

DIANA- A vehicle larceny complaint last month in Lewis County has resulted in a felony arrest of a North Country area resident.

On Monday, New York State Police (Carthage) formally charged Joseph L. Clark, 36, of Carthage, NY for one felony count of criminally possessing stolen property in the fourth degree (property values exceeding $1,000).

Troopers said this arrest stems from a vehicle larceny complaint filed on June 13 in the town of Diana.

At press time, Clark’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
