LOWVILLE- On Thursday, March 26, 2026, Lewis County Clerk, Jake Moser, joined North Country News and discussed one of the most recent text message scams that has been going around (see example below from a listener on March 13).

Mr. Moser reminds that there have been different, but yet similar variations of this same scam (I.E: An outstanding Thruway toll bill and etc.).
