BOONVILLE- On Friday, January 16, 2026, spokesperson for the Boonville Snow Festival II committee, Susan Alger, joined North Country News and discussed the ongoing track preparation process for fast oval ice sled racing January 30, 31 and February 1 at the Boonville-Oneida County Fairgrounds.
Friday test and tune (January 30) as of this publication is scheduled from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., pending weather and track condition.
The traditional torchlight parade will follow Friday's test and tune at 6:30 p.m., led thanks to Lost Trail Snowmobile Club. The parade will originate from the Town Barn (near State Route 12) and will weave up to the fairgrounds, where opening ceremonies will commence at approximately 7:15 p.m., including a blessing of the track.
Racing schedules for Saturday and Sunday are still being finalized.
