Oneida County trespass complaint results in arrest of local resident

FLOYD- A trespass complaint in Oneida County has resulted in a charge filed against a local resident.

On Monday afternoon, the New York State Police (Marcy) arrested and charged Richard John Barrett, 28, of Remsen, NY with one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass in the second-degree.

Troopers say this arrest was made stemming from a complaint filed on October 23 in the town of Floyd.

At press time, Barrett’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
