Pair of public hearings scheduled Tuesday, November 29 for Lewis County bridge replacement proposals

LOWVILLE- A pair of public hearings are scheduled Tuesday, November 29, regarding proposals for two Lewis County bridge replacements.

The meetings will be held from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Lewis County Office Building (second floor, legislative chambers).

The first meeting will focus on the proposed replacement of Gardner Road Bridge, which passes over Mill Creek Tributary. The second meeting will focus on the proposed replacement of the O’Brien Road Bridge, over Mill Creek.

Both propositions are in the preliminary design phase.

Members from the State DOT, the Town of Lowville, the County Highway Department and others will be in attendance to address any questions or concerns that may arise.
