Personal injury accident near Steuben leads to aggravated DWI arrest, Troopers say

STEUBEN- A local woman is accused of aggravated intoxicated driving, following reports of a personal injury accident Friday night in Oneida County.

Jane A. White, 59, of Forestport, NY was arrested late Friday night by the New York State Police (Remsen). White is formally charged with one count each of aggravated DWI and DWI (first-offense).

According to Troopers, the arrest was made in the town of Steuben shortly after 9:00 p.m.

At press time, police said that an investigation was pending. White was released to a third party.

Details regarding the accident were not provided as of this report.
