ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY- Although there is still no trial date yet, it has been confirmed that a lawyer will be representing the man accused of murdering a SUNY Potsdam student in February, 2022.

Michael Snow’s murder case was just re-assigned to the St. Lawrence County Public Defender’s Office Tuesday, according to the latest updates from WWNY-TV.

This development is only weeks after Snow had requested that the court allow that he represent himself during trial, to which that wish was granted.

Snow is accused of murdering Elizabeth Howell, 21, who was a student at the Crane School of Music. The incident occurred February 18, 2022.

Snow was indicted by a grand jury for counts of second-degree murder; first-degree manslaughter; first-degree assault and first-degree criminal use of a firearm.
