REMINDER: Construction crews to continue roadwork in Boonville, other surrounding communities

Published on August 11, 2025

ALERT

BOONVILLE & ONEIDA COUNTY- For the time being, drivers are reminded to prepare for potential delays throughout Oneida County as construction crews continue roadwork repairs and operations.

In Boonville, frequent travelers should beware that there will be lane closures and flaggers controlling traffic this week on portions of State Route 12-D, State Route 294, State Route 46 and Schuyler Street as crews work to finish up a major paving project.

Meanwhile, those heading through the town of Lee are advised of lane closures (for maintenance) along State Route 26 (between Streun Road and Weaver Road - flaggers will be posted).

If you’re heading through the Steuben area, beware of a full road closure (w/a signed detour) on State Route 274 (between Fraser and Williams Roads), due to a culvert replacement. The detour will re-route drivers along the Steuben Valley Road; Ellis Road; Thompson Road and Crill Road.

Finally, for those traveling in the town of Trenton, there will be shoulder closures along State Route 365 (near the Taylor Road) due to conduit and pull-box instillation.
