LOWVILLE- Mental health experts and advocates in Lewis County are inviting members of the community to attend their suicide bereavement support group.
The meetings are held every fourth Tuesday of the month at Lowville Free Library.
The group was established to offer support and comfort for those grieving a lost loved one from suicide. The meetings are held monthly at 6:00 p.m.
Be sure to contact Lewis County Public Health with questions about attending: 315-376-5453.
Sierra Kempney, spokesperson for the group, joined our North Country News earlier this spring to inform listeners of this initiative.
She was on the airwaves again with us today, as she went on to explain more on the significance of mental health - especially as we have exited the emergency stage of the COVID-19 pandemic.
