REMINDER: North Country Proudly Honors to host annual banner reception Saturday, May 8 at Boonville VFW

BOONVILLE-North Country Proudly Honors will be hosting a public viewing and reception on Saturday, May 11 at the Harland J. Hennessey VFW Post 5538, located on Park Avenue.

According to spokesperson Bob Lewis, the reception will take place from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The public is invited to come and meet the families who signed up to honor a beloved U.S. service member, whether current or past, including those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

These banners will be on display for families to take photos before they go up throughout select streets village-wide from Memorial Day through Veterans Day.

This year's guest speaker will be State Senator Joseph Griffo.
