LOWVILLE- Work is underway in Lowville for a paving project.
Residents and frequent travelers through the village are reminded that crews will be out through Thursday this week milling portions of Route 12.
Work will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., according to the New York State DOT. The project includes milling of Route 12 from the State Route 26 intersection, up to Dayan Street, then continuing along Dayan Street right up to the village line.
The milling process will be curb-to-curb, meaning there will be no parking allowed in the work areas.
Motorists should expect lane closures and delays are likely during work hours.
Paving work for the same area is expected to begin sometime during the second week of August.
